The Peace Field Project
Green Fields School, New Delhi, India, Peace Pitch is twinned with Flanders Peace Field, Messines, Belgium, site of the first World War 1914 Christmas truces.
A friendly Football game was played by students of all ages, boys and girls enthusiastically.
This is the historic moment as our school becomes the first school in Delhi to be part of this prestigious program along with Flanders Peace Field, Wheeling Happiness, Commonwealth Chambers of Commerce ( CWCC), Swayam and Peace Village.
Mr Ernie Brennan from Ireland presented a beautiful plaque to the principal Mrs Mini Khanna.
The Peace Pitch Declaration between Mr Ernie Brennan, Mrs Mini Khanna and Ms Devika Malik was signed in the presence of all dignitaries.
