To have a deeper understanding of curriculum of other schools and also to have cultural engagement in structured school setting, the school has started conducting International Exchange Programs annually. The exchange programs conducted in academic year 2016- 17 were with the prestigious school in Australia and Bhutan. School will have such programs with other countries in future also.

Visit to Shenton College, Perth, Australia

A student exchange programme between GFS and Shenton College, Perth was organized in the month of December 2017. A team comprising of 17 students and 4 teacher escorts made their way to the ‘Land of Kangaroos’ , all set to explore the Australian city. It provided select students the opportunity to gain a hands-on experience of international tourism. It also allowed them an insight into the education system of a foreign country, as well as, exposure to their distinctive culture and way of life.

The students of GFS attended various classes at the Australian school and also participated in various activities that facilitated cultural exchange. The staff and students of GFS and the host school established a good rapport and created relationships for a lifetime to cherish.

Trip to Bhutan

Green Fields Students Visit GongzimUgyen Dorji Central School Bhutan

Students had the opportunity to travel to Bhutan and experience the Himalayan nations commitment to “Gross National Happiness.”

Principal Mr. Sonam Choggyel and the host students of Gongzim Ugyen Dorji Central School which is the first modern school of Bhutan, gave a warm welcome to the GFS team.

The highlight of the exchange programme was the Dinner hosted by the Hon’ble District Governor Mr. KinZang Dorji representative of his Majesty the King. The students exchange programme culminated with a cultural function by the host and the guest teams of representation of Thangka, Buddhist Scroll Painting by the district education officer Mr. Temba.

Learning Across Boundaries

A Cultural Exchange Programme was organized between GFS and YNJHES, Taiwan on Monday, March 20th, 2023. GFS students elucidated about various festivals being celebrated across our country and the students from YNJHES, introduced the counties and cities in Taiwan, the flowers associated with each county and about the cuisine. It was an exquisite example of interaction across the border where the aim was not only learning but spreading love and understanding for each other.

Students of GFS performed perfect Yoga postures for the Taiwanese students of NKHSS on Thursday,04May'23.
All students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the session. The benefits of the postures performed were explained very well!
It was indeed a pleasure to witness the fellow school students performing yoga poses sincerely!!

Green Fields School and NKHHS, Taiwan had an amazing interaction with the students on Thursday, 24 Nov '22.

Students shared their routine at school - A day at school... through PPT. Students enjoyed the fun filled interaction with each other.

Our Principal Mrs Mini Khanna graced the event and wished the students of NKHSS Taiwan best wishes for future endeavours.

GFS Delhi-YNJHS Taiwan

Class IX participated in an online Exchange Programme with Yilan Neicheng Junior High and Elementary School, Taiwan. It began with a welcome address given by Respected Principal ma'am, Mrs Mini Khanna followed by both schools sharing information about their schools and their cities. Our students came up with a synergistic way to carry the interaction forward and taught common English phrases and their Hindi translations. The terms of the exchange programme were discussed, along the lines of syllabus, relevance of English and Maths and technology.

Taipei Economic and Culture Center, India hosted a grand reception at Hotel Hyatt Regency

On Thursday, 6th October'22 , Taipei Economic and Culture Center, India hosted a grand reception at Hotel Hyatt Regency to celebrate 111th National Day of the Republic of China ( Taiwan)

Mr Baushaun Ger, the Ambassador of Taiwan welcomed and addressed the gathering. The teachers teaching Mandarin in many prestigious Indian Universities were felicitated by the honourable Ambassador.

The National Anthems of India and Taiwan were played .

Mrs Vikramjeet Kaur, Incharge attended the program.
