Green Fields School organized the Mock election through ballot paper system at its campus on 2nd December. The Multi-disciplinary Activity involving the students of the school of classes IX and XI spread a wave of democracy and the feeling of being responsible citizen among the students.
The purpose of the activity was to make the students aware of the entire process of conduct of election from the nomination of candidate to campaigning, polling, counting of votes and declaration of the result.
Students of class XI formed three political parties and contested election replicating the Multi Party System that exists in Indian Democratic System. The students of class IX formed the electorate and exercised their right to vote.
The major highlight of the activity was the presence of Honourable Principal, Mrs. Mini Khanna who graced the event and casted her vote and encouraged the young leaders and voters to be responsible citizens.
