Green Fields School organized an interactive workshop on Financial Literacy for Class IX and XI students on 27th January 2023. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Aarti Aggarwal welcomed the resource person Mr Sunil Nigam , Assistant General Manager, Financial inclusion and Development Department, RBI, New Delhi.
Mr Nigam highlighted the need to create awareness about different aspects of financial planning such as budgeting, investing and basic knowledge about tax planning and how to avoid falling prey to cyber fraud.
He also discussed various functions of RBI as the Central Bank of India. He also conducted a quiz where children participated enthusiastically and won prizes. The workshop was an enriching experience for the students.
