On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, Ms. Mini Nayyar, along with 15 students of Class X from Green Fields School, visited Aravalli Biodiversity Park for an educational trip. The theme for the day was “Acting Locally for Global Impact.”
The Chief Guest, R. D. Meena, spoke about biodiversity, ecological restoration, and the challenges faced due to the uprooting of plants and cattle grazing in earlier times. He also highlighted the importance of community participation in conserving nature. Students learned that biodiversity refers to the variety and variability of life, and they understood the role of nature camps in creating environmental awareness among young learners.
The visit was informative and helped students understand the importance of protecting biodiversity and conserving nature.
