Students from Green Fields School attended the 68th Insitute day Exhibition organized by AIIMS, New Delhi on the theme “AIIMS: Leading India's health Care Security".. The exhibition was quite informative and familiarized the students with various aspects of biomedical research being carried out at AIIMS, apart from the routine clinical interventions. Students interacted with young clinicians and learnt the benefits of balanced diet and healthy fats that should be included in our diet. They also learnt about the nutritional value of millets and various recipes prepared from millets. Students were also explained the warning of heart attack & cardiac arrest , and how to respond in such emergency situations. Insights were also provided about injury prevention as a social responsibility. Further, the information about drug-abuse and rehabilitation of drug addicts at the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, Ghaziabad was an eye-opener, as it cautioned the students to stay away from such acts. Students also interacted with MBBS students, overall it was an enriching experience for them.
